Abdus Sattar Ghauri
|
|
|
Abdus Sattar Ghauri is a fellow of Al-Mawrid. He was born in Patiala (India) in 1935 and migratered to Pakistan in 1947. He holds an M.A. (Pb. Univ.) and Dip. in EPM (AIOU), Islamabad, M. Phil (AIOU). He has worked as a Senior Headmaster and S. S. in various Govt. High Schools.

Asif Iftikhar
|
|
|
Mr Asif Iftikhar (1966- ) is a Fellow at Al-Mawrid and also a permanent member of the Social Sciences Faculty at the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), Lahore (Pakistan) where he has been teaching courses related to Islam, Islamic law, business ethics, and communication skills for more than seven years now.

Javed Ahmed Ghamidi
|
|
|
Javed Ahmad Ghamidi was born in 1951 in a village of Sahiwal, a district of the Punjab province. After matriculating from a local school, he came to Lahore in 1967 where he is settled eversince.

Dr Khalid Zaheer

|
Dr Khalid Zaheer is the Vice-President of Al-Mawrid and has taken upon himself the responsibility of presenting the message of the foundation in the society. In this regard, he has spoken on numerous forums both national and international including various public and private TV channels.

Muhammad Rafi Mufti
|
|
|
Mr Muhammad Rafi Mufti was born on December 9, 1953 in district Wazirabad Pakistan. He received formal education up to BSc and joined Glaxo Laboratories Limited. He came into contact with Mr Javed Ahmad Ghamidi in 1976 and started occasionally attending his lectures.

Sajid Hameed
|
|
|
Sajid Hameed was born on October 10 1965 in Pakpattan. He did his MA in Urdu and another MA in Islamic Studies from the University of Punjab. He studied Arabic grammar, language and literature.

Dr Shehzad Saleem
|
|
|
Shehzad Saleem has been under the tutelage of Javed Ahmad Ghamidi since 1988 and is currently a Research Fellow of Al-Mawrid. He has a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from U.E.T Lahore, Pakistan and holds a PhD on the History of the Qur'an from the University of Wales, UK.

Talib Mohsin
|
|
|
Mr Talib Mohsin was born in 1959 in the district Pakpattan of Punjab. He received elementary education in his native town. Later on he moved to Lahore and passed his matriculation from the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Lahore. He joined F.C College Lahore and graduated in 1981.

Abdullah Rahim
|
|
|
Abdullah Rahim is an Associate Fellow at Al-Mawrid. He began his studies in Islam by attending an Islamic Seminary on a part time basis for six years from 1985 where he studied classical Arabic, Logic, Jurisprudence (Fiqh) and Principles of Jurisprudence (Usuli Fiqh).

Kaukab Shehzad
|
|
|
Kaukab Shehzad has been under the tutelage of Javed Ahmad Ghamidi since 1983 after she graduated in Psychology and Philosophy. She has studied Quran, Hadith, Arabic Language and Literature with him. She has been delivering weekly Qur’an lectures since 1988. She remained an instructor of Urdu and Islamic Studies at Musab Public School (www.musab.edu.pk) (1994-199) and an instructor of Arabic language for higher secondary classes at Defence Public School (2000-2001).

Muhammad Ibrahim Sheikh
|
|
|
Muhammad Ibrahim Sheikh (b. 1968) completed memorizing the Qur’an while in college. After his graduation in 1988, he joined the Qur’an Academy for a one year course on Islamic studies. Later, he obtained his professional B.ED in 1990. In 1992, he obtained his Masters in Arabic Language and Literature (privately) from the Punjab University.

Muhammad Siddiq Bukhari
|
|
|
Muhammad Siddiq Shah Bukhary (b. 1961) did his masters in Political Science from the Punjab University in 1983. He completed his shahadah e alamiyyah from the Al-Mawrid Foundation in 2001 and later also taught at the Foundation in the Masters in Islamic Studies program (2002-2003). In 2004, he launched Suay Haram (www.suayharam.org), a monthly Islamic journal.

Tariq Mahmood Hashmi

Tariq Mahmood Hashmi, (born 1971, Pakistan), has been engaged in research, translation and teaching in Islamic disciplines for a decade, after completing Master's Degrees in Arabic Language and Literature (1995) and Islamic Studies (2001). His academic work focuses on the translation of seminal Arabic and Urdu texts into English

Mr Ammar Khan Nasir was born in December 1975 to a renowned religious and scholarly family in the town of Gakhar Gujranwala, Pakistan. His grandfather Mawlana Muhammad Sarfaraz Khan Safdar is considered the academic voice of the Deobandi School in the country.

Moiz Amjad

Born in Karachi, Pakistan on 27th Dec 1962, Moiz Amjad matriculated in 1978 from St. Mary's High School, Lahore. In 1986, he completed his MBA (Masters in Business Administration) from the University of the Punjab, Lahore securing top position in the University.
