What is the concept of 72 hoors (women in heaven/jannah) in Islam? What is your understanding about having sexual relations with those 72 women?
Answer
The issue of 72 maidens for men is based on a narrative which is weak. Hence we cannot draw any conclusions from it. According to the Qur’an pious men will be for pious women and pious women will be for pious men. The number is neither mentioned nor specified in any way by the Qur’an.
