I am 10 years old and live in London. I want to know if it is allowable for the Muslims to eat chicken and beef in McDonalds.

Dear Ali Raza,
Chicken and Beef in McDonald’s shops in London are usually product of animal slaughter that is not in accordance to the rules of Islam. Therefore Muslims should not consume these products. You can however enjoy other foods in McDonald’s like Fillet or Fish or fries, etc. I also want to let you know that once in Dubai (which is a Muslim country) my kids got beef burgers from McDonald’s and they didn’t like it at all! They are not providing a very healthy food and you should be pleased that you have a good reason not to eat those products!
