Question
Is it possible that a person may be jinxed by God for some reason? I feel that everything I touch ends up in disaster. I am a practicing Muslim but still I feel there must be some evil within me as to why I have no barakah in anything that I do! Please explain the reasoning behind this.
Answer
The Almighty Allah has created and is running this universe on the principle of test and trial. There are many who are tested by hard times and some by good fortune. The former class needs to show patience and the latter to offer gratitude. I believe Allah Almighty is testing you. At times the tests are harder. May Allah help you and ease the circumstances for you and help you tread the path of his liking.
