Why would God want His creation to not ask, questions, criticize, debate or experiment ideas that He gave us? This can only happen to cover up lies. This is the reason why we can’t question clergy about things like what’s the proof that God exists and what’s the proof that Muhammad is the Prophet of God. It seems like a great deceit to make sheep out of humans. Only truth can stand the fierce scrutiny and criticism and still stand tall.

Answer

God’s attitude should be studied through His revelations and not through people who profess belief in Him. If you look at the Qur’ān, the last word of God, you will find that God repeatedly invites people to think, repeatedly puts forward arguments, answers the opponents arguments and asks them to bring forward their arguments (Qur’ān: 2:111, 21:24, 27:64). The Qur’ān not only allows but in fact challenges and demands the opponents to experiment whether they could produce anything like the Qur’ān (Qur’ān: 2:23).

The questions you raised and many other questions have been asked before and answers have been provided by many scholars and many Islamic websites. If the person who has asked these questions has encountered Muslims who do not appreciate being challenged, then he needs to find those Muslims who are better representations of the attitude that is promoted in the Qur’ān, that is reasoning and intellectual challenging.
