What is hajj al-badal? I just read in USA that for $1500.00 somebody can perform hajj for somebody else. They quote two Ahadiths of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) which are claimed to be sound. Is there anything like hajj-e-badal or there is nothing like that? 2. I also have another question relating to sighting the moon. It\u2019s a problem in Indian and Pakistani community. Some say that you have to see it with naked eyes. Some say calculations are right and the others say not. I personally believe in calculations as you know they always are 100% correct which we just witnessed this year. I wanted to ask what is the correct hadith of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and what is in the context it has been said and is it compulsory to sight the moon with naked eyes or because as we use technology in nowadays we can use it in this situation too? Why Muslims have so much problem with moon sighting not with other matters when they use technology even in the religion. 3. Whenever I ask any questions on anything to the ulama they start explaining the answers in the light of fiqah looks like they are teaching fiqas not the deen. Is fiqah that important that nowadays its considers that important? The last line of defence they use is that you should have to follow one fiqah you can't mix it. I don't believe that I am going to take everything which is easy in any fiqah is that understanding right or not? Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is reported to have said that we need to keep the deen simple. I am not sure whether my understanding is correct or not? Why all these problems arise in Indian and Pakistani communities, what about Arabs? They have kept the deen simple. Is it right or not?"}
