Your prompt reply will be highly  appreciated.<\/p>\n<h3>Answer<\/h3>\n<p>We cannot consider payment of interest to be <em>H\u0323ar\u0101m<\/em> as it is only receiving the interest that is made forbidden in the Qur\u2019\u0101n. There are some <em>Ah\u0323\u0101d\u012bth<\/em> that are interpreted to mean that the Prophet (sws) has condemned paying interest. A little deliberation on these <em>Ah\u0323\u0101d\u012bth<\/em> shows that it is in fact the facilitator of the transaction and not the payer of interest that is condemned. <\/p>\n<div>It  is of course true that payment of interest is contribution to an  interest based transaction and this leaves know doubt that paying  interest should be avoided as it can be seen as cooperating in sin, but  again we cannot call it <em>H\u0323<\/em><em>\u0323<\/em><em>ar\u0101m<\/em> because there is no directive about it in the Qur\u2019\u0101n or the Sunnah. <\/div>\n<p>In  the interest based economy that we are facing in our era the most  practical advice seems to be to avoid paying interest only where this  does not put us in extra ordinary difficulty. However every human being  has the right to secure what is generally considered to be a necessity  of life and if taking interest based loan is the only mean to make this  happen then we cannot say it should be avoided. Securing the necessities  of life is preferred in this situation.
