One option is to pay <em>zakah<\/em> at the time a property is sold.<\/p>\n<h3>Answer<\/h3>\n<p><em>Zakah<\/em>  is applicable on every asset that is considered wealth. Plots which are  not in personal use and which are not for building personal home are  zakated. On such items as plots we pay <em>zakah<\/em> from our amount in  personal possession. If however, it is not possible for you then you may  defer the due amount for future but there is a risk in doing so.
