I am 25 and unmarried. I try to offer the five daily Prayers although most of the time I have to offer the Fajar Prayer qada. Mostly I am timely and regular with other Prayers. Secondly, I regularly read the Qur\u2019an with translation and listen to and read extra material about the Qur\u2019an and the Sunnah. My problem is that I am equally attracted towards the evil as well. This evil is mostly attached with sexual desires. I frequently find myself in a sin related with sexual desires. I am a social person, because of which I have contacts with girls as well. Some times I become close to them and some times my solitude is not pure. Although as soon as I commit a sin, I repent, but because of frequently doing the same thing (doing sin and repenting) I feel bad. I am not involved in Zina but I want to be absolutely pure in this matter. When the time comes I can\u2019t stop emotions and somehow slip into it. I feel as if I am in the middle of good and bad forces and I am equally attracted towards both. Kindly help me so that I can become pure in this matter till the time I get married. <\/p>\n

I try to provide you with an answer as brief as possible:<\/p>\n

One of the main objectives of acts of worship is to achieve the realisation that God sees us and know what ever we think, say and do.<\/div>\n
Would you commit the same inappropriate deeds if you know that your good mother or good dad or a teacher you respect is watching you? The reason you manage to commit those inappropriate deeds is that you do not realise that your Lord is watching you. Once you realise that, you won’t do those acts again and your level of Taqwa will increase sharply.<\/div>\n
According to the Qur’an, “prayer prevents us from evil and bad deeds” (Q. 29:45). If you are doing your Prayers along with evil and bad deeds then this simply means that you need to improve your Prayers. Improving your Prayers and any worship act is again very much depending on “realisation” of God’s presence in your life. <\/div>\n
I suggest you continue your acts of worship with the aim to increase and achieve this “realisation”. <\/div>\n
Apart from the above, trying to be in the company of God fearing people, exercising, making yourself busy with some good hobbies and of course getting married are the best cures for such temptations.<\/div>\n
Also try not to be alone for long time, then again, have you noticed that you can never be alone.<\/div>\n
