If yes, what will be the percentage, keeping in mind 20% that I already  pay to the government. <\/p>\n<h3>Answer<\/h3>\n<p>If  we are in debt but we do not plan to pay the debt for the time being we  will be obliged to pay zakah on the assets at hand. Zakah on assets is  2.5% yearly.
