Is it really Islamic or just lunar?<\/p>\n<h3>Answer<\/h3>\n<p>Lunar Calendar  is not Islamic. It is Muslim caendar. Islamic is something that is part  of the religion. Time and its various units and divisions are not  religious in nature. The Islamic sources had to refer to the times in  the known terms in those days.
