He was a member of a  specific society and culture in a given period of history as well as a  religious guide. As an individual he followed the cultural traditions of  his society and time. In this respect we are not bound to follow the  culture of the Prophet and follow him in things which he did or said as  member of a particular society and culture. In religious realm, he  performed his religious duties as a true servant of God and each of his  action is a best exemplar for us.
