My question to you is regarding women and music. I see Ghamdi Sahab has always been a supporter of music being permissible within the limits of Islam. My question to you is how can a woman pursue music as a career by remaining within the limits of Islam? It would be great if you can also define these limits if what I asked is permissible.<\/p>\n
In this regard, the right approach is to give broad guidelines regarding the Islamic approach to fine and liberal arts, and the leave the matter to the person in question to decide how he and she can observe these limits. The reason is that every person has his or her own style in following directives in their applied form. <\/p>\n
If the sense of haya<\/em> (modesty) is fully grounded in a lady, she will be very careful and cautious while pursuing such a career.
