Question

If someone insults islam to my face must I defend Islam? Or may I walk away knowing in my mind and heart and soul he is wrong and I do not wish to guide him as he has not felt Allah in is heart and I wish not to start contriversy.

You must always defend the truth in the best manner. Some times the best way of defending an insult is to reason with the person, some times it is to act good and practically prove the person wrong, some times it is to show dissatisfaction with your face, some times it is to remain silent …. May God give all of us the wisdom to recognise what is the best reaction in such situations.
