What is the origin of Dua-e-Qanoot that is normally said in witr prayer in Pakistan?

Answer

The supplications or the act of qunoot itself is optional. One can recite any supplication in the prayer. The Hanafis prefer this dua for qunoot. It has been ascribed to Umar rta.
