Sūrah al-Quraysh
This sūrah forms a pair with Sūrah al-Fīl; the introduction covering both is on that page.
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Ever-Merciful.
The Quraysh were made familiar. They were made familiar with the winter and summer journeys. So, [if nothing else, only] for this reason they should worship the Lord of this House who fed them in hunger among [these barren mountains] and secured them from [their] fear.
